We are one of the largest providers of shade and ornamental trees in North America. For more than 60 years, the Schmidt family and employees have been contributing to the greening of our nation. Our handcrafted, high quality shade, flowering and ornamental trees are sold to nurseries and landscape companies in every state and in most Canadian provinces. Many are replanted by our customers and grown to specimen sizes before being installed in public and private landscapes.
You will find our unique trees growing to maturity in neighborhoods and parks, shading busy streets, and contributing to the beautiful landscapes of countless homes and businesses. You will even find trees that originated in our nursery shading the entryways to our Nation’s Capitol, a scene that is captured on the back of the fifty-dollar bill. With over 50 uniquely patented or trademarked introductions and over 500 other varieties in production we are proud to be a prominent leader in our industry.
We are as passionate about nurturing employees as we are about growing great trees. Our dedication to employee satisfaction and success is embedded in our mission statement, which states that our work is accomplished “through teamwork with our employees in an environment of fairness, respect, loyalty and mutual success.”
The Schmidt family and employees are proud of our role in enhancing our communities and our environment through the growing and planting of trees. If you are passionate about trees, the environment, and joining a winning team, you have come to the right place.
